Anonimo TP52 operations are headquartered in Genoa’s prestigious Yacht Club Italian—one of the oldest sailing institutions in the world. SailingTeam.tv is the managing company of the sailing crew led by the team manager as well as helmsman, Riccardo Simoneschi. Simoneschi is currently President of the Committee for the organization of the ISAF WORLD CUP for the Olympic classes.
The boat, designed by Rolf Vrolijk, formerly chief designer of Alinghi, is called ANONIMO-- the newest vessel of SailingTeam.Tv. It is indeed in the class TP52 and in Simoneschi’s crew that Anonimo immediately Orient Watches found affinities; sharing passion, professional skills and determination.
In Europe, the TP52 design has become the testing ground for all the leading designers who have created the top hulls, such as Botik and Cerkeek, Farr, Judel/Vrolijk, Reichel/Pugh. Strongly promoted by King Juan Carlos de Borbon, King Harald of Norway and by the most influential European ship-owners, the TP52 class has been present in the Mediterranean since last season and has fielded the most accomplished sailors in the world for its regattas, including Paul Cayard, Russel Coutss, Mark Reynold and many others. The 2006 season saw many different America’s Cup teams taking Burberry Handbags part in the TP52 fleet, attesting the superlative level of the TP52 competitions.
The 2006 inaugural season for the Anonimo Sailing Team saw impressive success, coming in first place in the Canarie Islands Trofeo Cesar Manrique Puerto Calero Lanzarote. Additionally, Anonimo came in third place in the Sardinia Rolex Cup as part of the Monaco team. Overall in the Breitling Med Cup, they took 11th place in a field of twenty-three. ANONIMO TP52 is sponsored also by the Gold sponsor Audi Racing, by the Silver sponsors Deutsche Bank, COMIFIN, Bang & Olufsen with the technical suppliers North Sails, Silva, Rockport and Gill.
